In March 2010 my father and I hiked along the Overland Track in Tasmania. Stretching from Cradle Mountain in the north to Lake St. Clair in the south, we carried everything to survive for a week 65km on the track.
Today we reached Lake St Clair, the end of the track, where some other hikers took the opportunity for a swim. We caught the ferry to the other end of the lake, where the visitor's centre and civilization began. There was a beautiful afternoon light on the lake, and we enjoyed a hard earned steak and beer.

Next post: Early morning shots of Lake St Clair, my favourites of the whole trip.
